The aim of the working group is the development and effective use of integrated national and European Research Area, including the research infrastructure (including information technology), for research in the field of Slavic linguistics and related disciplines.
Indika is a working group of Sanskrit scholars registered in DARIAH-PL consortium as a project responsible for the digitalization process of translation, analysis, editing and publication of texts. Our aim is to develop a system which can facilitate working on texts on different levels.
The group aims to conduct quantitative literary studies on literary works themselves and on their various metadata. This implies the use of statistical methods in quantitative textual analysis along the lines of distant reading: stylometry, quantitative genre studies, research into multimedial writing (e.g. blogs), literary geography, corpus building.
The working group’s aim is to coordinate and consolidate the activities of researchers and research centres concerned with the acquisition, automatic processing and providing digital resources, including non–literary types of textual materials.
