Indika – digitalization process of translation

Indika – digitalization process of translation, analysis, editing and publication of texts

DESCRIPTION

Indika is a working group of Sanskrit scholars registered in DARIAH-PL consortium as a project responsible for the digitalization process of translation, analysis, editing and publication of texts. Our aim is to develop a system which can facilitate working on texts on different levels.
We are aiming at establishing model structure for working on text in its different stages and at implementing this model structure, i.e. translating, analysing, editing and publication of texts with the use of the worked out method.
To do this we are going to:
1. establish a website of Sanskrit texts and translations with a repository;
2. edit and publish Polish translations of Sanskrit texts with the use of digital and multimedia technologies;
3. translate Sanskrit texts, both by individuals and groups, with the use of digital tools;
4. analyse Sanskrit texts with the use of digital tools, including statistics.
